Making Impressions
Direct
White provides two impression trays and three packages of impression
material. The impressions of your teeth are used to create
a custom model to make your personalized whitening trays.
Clean and dry hands before beginning.

1. Remove one catalyst paste and one base paste and mix the two together
by rolling and kneading in your hands for approximately 45 seconds until
well blended into one color. The material will begin to harden after 1
minute.
2. Roll out the material the width of the tray. Press the material and shape
into the tray.
3. Place the loaded tray over the upper teeth. Teeth should be centered in the
impression material. Press firmly with your fingers so you can feel the material
flow over your teeth and gums. Do Not Bite Down - just hold in place with your
fingers. The impression material will extrude through the holes in the tray.
Keep the impression in place for about 2 minutes, then remove carefully .
THE
TOTAL AMOUNT OF TIME TO MAKE YOUR IMPRESSIONS IS ONLY 1 MINUTE EACH.
DO NOT remove the molds from the trays.
4. Check to make sure that you can see the impressions of your teeth in the impression
putty. In case of error, you may use the tray again. An extra set of impression
material is included.
5. To make the impressions for the lower teeth, repeat steps 2-4. Place the tray
over the lower teeth. Remember not to bite down.
6. Let the trays harden (about 20 minutes), then rinse gently under cold water.
7. Fill out the orange address card (attached to system box flap)and place the
impressions and card in the preaddressed packing envelope and mail. We will make
your customized bleaching trays in our certified laboratory and send them back
to you within 2-7 business days. |
